Dr. Ryan Scally is a graduate of Rutgers Dental School (formerly UMDNJ). While in dental school, he received the New Jersey Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Award. Always knowing that he wanted to work with children, he continued at Rutgers Dental School to receive his specialty certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. During his second year of residency he served as Chief Resident.
After completing his training, he was asked to stay on as a faculty member at Rutgers. As a clinical instructor, he enjoys working with both dental students and pediatric dental residents teaching restorative, sedation, and hospital dentistry. He also guest lectures multiple times a year to General Dentists about various aspects of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Ryan has extensive experience treating special needs patients and patients requiring treatment in a hospital setting. He especially enjoys working with the special needs population and finds providing treatment to this population very rewarding.
Dr. Ryan is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and has been continuously listed as a Top Dentist in New Jersey Monthly, New Jersey Family, and Top Dentists, LLC.
